Steve has spent his entire professional career specializing in business and real estate transactional work. His business expertise includes mergers and acquisitions, new venture formation, private placements and general commercial transactions. His real estate expertise includes commercial leasing, development, acquisitions, financing and joint ventures.

Steve graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 1974 and from the UCLA School of Law in 1977, where he was a member of the UCLA Law Review. Steve was an associate at Pettit & Martin in San Francisco from 1977 through 1981.

Steve and his wife, Anne, live in Atherton and have four children, Steve, Sophia, Hilary and Bobbie.
